iperf3 agents — inner workload generator inside SDWAN tunnels.

Function

iperf3 server + client fleet that runs inside SDWAN/CoR tunnels as the inner workload. Generates wire-level throughput numbers (RFC 6349) for SDWAN baseline.

Resolves the K6-vs-iperf3 baseline question (per ADR 0023): iperf3 is the standardized SDWAN throughput tool.

Notes

IPr lives inside SDWAN/CoR-N tunnels (no standalone use). When the Cloud Endpoint Service mode is used, iperf3 servers run in the cloud PoPs; bench-side IPr is the client. In local mode, bench has both.
